5011 West Pleasant Ridge Road, Arlington Texas 76016 Get Involved!A person's relationship with Christ grows as each one has opportunity from involvement in Christian ministry. In other words, not only is it important to take part in programs and projects that meet one's own needs, but it is equally important to find some area of ministry where one can seek to meet the needs of others. Only in this way can we know true fulfillment in Jesus Christ. Adult Opportunities In addition to Sunday worship and Sunday School programs, many other offerings encourage participation at St. Barnabas.
Opportunities for Children Nursery - We are dedicated to providing the very best care for infants. Our nursery, whether during worship or for mid-week events, is a safe, clean and happy environment where the trusted St. Barnabas staff cares for your child. Our desire to serve Christ begins with our commitment to the finest care for these "little ones". Church School - There are many occasions for children to learn and grow in their faith., beginning with Church School and Sunday mornings (9:30 for all ages). Church School is taught by people committed to helping children grow in love for Christ and His church. Youth Opportunities The Junior High and High School years are formative for youth - emotionally, psychologically and spiritually. Our youth program not only seeks to meet the needs of youth, but also to challenge them to be all God wants them to be. Led by professional staff and a host of quality, trained volunteers, the St. Barnabas Youth Ministry is one of which we are very proud. Specific opportunities include: Church School - at 9:30 am each Sunday, a time of instruction and discussion as youth learn more about their faith and the life of the church. Youth Choir - Sings at one worship service each Sunday, and rehearses at 4:45 pm each Sunday. Every summer, the choir takes it's message on the road in a musical show that presents the Christian message in a unique way to churches and organizations hundreds of miles from Arlington. United Methodist Youth Fellowship - Each Sunday, beginning at 6:00 pm with a snack supper. The evening activities include a variety of programs designed to help youth's faith grow in all aspects of life. Confirmation Class - A study of the doctrines, history and life of the church with special attention to making a personal commitment to Christ, for all youth and 6th graders. Other Activities
