Other Ministries
1. Vacation Bible School - Usually held in June for ages four through 6th grade from 9 a.m. to noon. 6th graders participate in "Mission Maniacs" during this week where they come for half of VBS and do mission work the other half.
* 2008 Vacation Bible School is June 23 - June 27. Print out the registration form at the bottom of this page and drop off at the church or send in by mail attn: Cathy Smith. Volunteers please sign up in the atrium.
2. Children's Chapel - Offered during the 10:50 service after the children's time with the pastor for children in grades K - 2nd. Chapel meets on the second, third, fourth, and fifth Sundays. There is no chapel on the first Sunday so that children can join their families for communion.
3. Bible Club for 3rd - 6th graders is held the second Friday evening of the month during the school year. We eat dinner, have a short devotional or bible lesson, and play games.
4. Summer activities- Various summer activities include field trips, swimming, water parks, Putt-Putt, Bowling, and more.
5. Confirmation- Confirmation for 6th graders begins in January and lasts for about 15 weeks. Students participate in classes on Sunday afternoons, where they will study a lesson and meet with their mentors.
6. Retreats - Scheduled retreats are attended at Glen Lake throughout the year.
7. Children's Choir - Offered for Kindergarten through 6th Grade on Wednesday evenings from 6:15 to 7:00 p.m. Gina Yant is our wonderful children's choir director. You can contact her at ginayant@sbcglobal.net for any questions.
